Welcome to my webpage! I was born in Edson and took all of my schooling here, until I attended the U of A to get my teaching degree. This is my sixth year at Pine Grove and my 32nd year teaching. Reading, writing and poetry are passions of mine and I work hard to instill the love of literacy in my students. This year I teach 6B, 6D, 6F, 7F and 8F Language Arts.

I encourage all my students to practice Reading Comprehension Tests at the Alberta Exam Bank. Select the grade level you want and the test. Click on the test and it will ask for the username and password. They are: username is gyrd.pg  and the password is zipper.  

Students! Please remember that Poetry Notebook, Monthly Reading Calendars, Genre Charts and Writer's Notebooks are all due at the end of each month.
